Day 2 - Swollen cheeks and neck, and bruising around the jaw-line. The spots on my nose are unrelated. |
  
Day 3 - The swelling is already diminishing, however the bruising is getting darker. |
  
Day 5 - Notice the areas around the bruising are turning yellow and starting to migrate down my neck. |
  
Day 6 - I have gotten quite yellow, clear down to include my chest area; otherwise, I'm looking better. |
  
Day 7 - Starting to look more normal - all bruising disappeared by 2 weeks, swelling gone at 4 weeks. |
  
3 Months - Notice I still have my braces and rubber bands. I will need a little more tweaking with the braces before I get my teeth restored. I am very happy with the results, so far. Also, my procedure gave me an added bonus, a reverse face-lift (the jaw-line was increased, therefore, tightening the skin under my chin). It has also diminished the lines around my mouth due to the repositioning. I just turned age 50, Oct. 5th, and think I look quite nice, even if I say so myself. |
